Special thanks to Rachelle Gehant for banner photo contribution. Interested in volunteering? Soul Space Reflections is looking for volunteers to support our efforts. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Soul Space is pleased to accept submissions. We are looking for original, reflective words, pictures and sounds to expand and enrich our interfaith conversation. Writing may take the form of prose or poetry. Artwork may be photography or drawings; music instrumental or song. We’d like to see and hear your work.
Space will be limited thus we ask that prose be kept to 750 words and poetry to no more than 30 lines. Photographs should be submitted preferably in jpeg format. Submissions accepted on an ongoing basis.
Our screening committee comprised of Jewish, Christian and Muslim women will review all submissions and use the following criteria as a standard for selection and posting on the site:
- In what ways does the material reflect on religious/spiritual experience and the suggested theme? ·
- How does the work reveal the truth in a way that builds up and offer possibilities? ·
- Does the content mesh with the mission of Soul Space to foster understanding among women of faith? ·
- Will readers or viewers of many faiths feel honored and respected?
Editing/cropping is primarily the responsibility of the author/artist. The screening committee reserves the right to suggest edits and work with authors/artists before posting material.
